Human pulp reaction to iontophoretic application of NaF 2%, 4% and acidulated phosphate fluoride (APF) 1.23% was studied and compared with normal saline as control. The response was observed at 24 hours and 7 days. It was found that NaF 2% scored higher but not statistically significant over 4% NaF and 1.23% APF solutions in evoking favourable pulpal response.
